Babette de Barros offers a deeply personalized Integrative Massage Experience in 60, 90 or 120-minute sessions. Each session is intuitively guided, allowing Babette to listen to the body and respond to its unique needs in the moment. Rather than following a single modality, she weaves together therapeutic techniques, mindful touch, and energetic awareness to support physical relief, emotional balance, and overall well-being.
Each session is designed to restore harmony, release tension, and encourage the body’s natural healing intelligence. The only exception is post-surgical massage, which is a specialized offering and scheduled separately.
To enhance your experience, sessions may include Young Living Essential Oils, hot stones, hot towels, Ancient Minerals Magnesium, cupping, and scrapping thoughtfully incorporated as needed — at no additional charge.

MLD is a unique and specialized massage. It stimulates the lymphatic system which removes water and inflammation from the body. It also assists in the removal of waste products, protein products and debris that accumulates in the body. It is comprised of gentle, rhythmic and pumping massage movements. MLD is used in the treatment of chronic and sports injuries, burns, acne, rosacea and lymphedema. MLD also promotes your own body’s ability to heal. It speeds recovery of post operative surgery.

Vodder manual lymph drainage reduces and maintains lymphedma. Dr. Vodder method is the original method and therefore achieves the best results for reducing and maintaing lymphedema. This is complete decongestive therapy for lymphedema. It includes massage, skin care and bandaging. I am the only Vodder Therapist in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

The Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage can aid the recovery of local edemas and hematomas resulting from surgery. Severed lymph vessels are regenerated by direct scar treatment with MLD. Preoperative massages prepare, decongest and help the tissue to be in the best possible state prior to surgery. Just two preoperative and one postoperative MLD sessions will significantly improve healing.

Raindrop therapy brings total balance, harmony, and body wellness – mental, physical, and emotional. Essential oils are used to stimulate the nerves and the re-growth of tissue. Energy work, consists of balancing the chakras within the body. By clearing and/or opening the chakras within the human anatomy, individuals are empowered with vibrational balance and harmony; thus, encouraging overall well-being — mind, body and soul.
It is a method of deep purification that releases old traumas and fears that limit our natural healing capabilities. Through the process of energy work, our chakras open and relinquish heavy energy blockages. By means of energy work, an individual gains mind clarity, understanding, and heightened awareness.
